Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Cupping and Other Soft Tissue Therapies
Dr. Rehwald earned a Fellowship in Acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2003 and is Board Certified in Chiropractic Acupuncture by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
His approach incorporates a variety of evidence-informed soft tissue and neuromuscular therapies, including dry needling (often with electrical stimulation), acupuncture, cupping, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), manual soft tissue mobilization, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), electrical muscle stimulation, and therapeutic ultrasound.
These therapies are utilized to reduce or relieve muscular tension, stiffness, myofascial trigger points, soft tissue restrictions, and stimulate nerve and blood circulation to the affected area.
By integrating these therapies with skeletal adjustments and muscle reactivation (AMIT), we utilize a comprehensive approach that addresses the interconnected relationship between the nervous system, muscles, joints, and movement patterns to optimize function, support recovery, and enhance performance.
