Nasal Specific Technique (NST)
Nasal Specific Technique (NST) is an endonasal adjustment procedure intended to improve the alignment and function of the cranial, facial, and sinus bones. The procedure is performed by inserting a small balloon catheter into the nasal passages and briefly inflating it to facilitate the adjustment. Depending on examination findings, clinical presentation and individual goals, more than one treatment may be recommended, and each treatment may require multiple balloon inflations within each nasal passage. Responses to care vary from person to person.
Nasal Specific Technique (NST) may be helpful with:
- Nasal congestion
- Chronic sinusitis
- Difficulty breathing through the nose
- Headaches and migraines
- Concussion-related symptoms and other post-traumatic brain injury (TBI) concerns
- Snoring
- Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction
- Dizziness
- Tinnitus
